LINCOLN, NE (November 7, 2018) – Cybersecurity firm Infogressive announced today that they will begin offering advanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology to their customers in partnership with Cybereason, creators of the leading cybersecurity data analytics platform.

The integration of the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology with Infogressive’s existing services will allow companies to thoroughly detect advanced threats and reduce their incident response times. This means increased protection of user data, providing additional visibility into both known and unknown threats on the network.

The Technology

EDR is a technology that takes a proactive approach to security. Once EDR is installed, it uses advanced algorithms to remember and connect user activity on the network, analyzing the behaviors. That data is collected and monitored for malicious activity. If an alert is triggered, the algorithms track the attack and build a path back to its point of entry.

The technology then consolidates all data into categories called MalOpsTM which dramatically reduces the investigation hours required from an analyst.

Unlike traditional security products that react after a threat is detected, EDR monitors endpoints in real-time and hunts for threats that have already infiltrated a company’s defenses. It offers greater visibility into endpoint activity, a comprehensive attack timeline, and remedies for the attack.
